YAY!

I'm so excited! I get to see Pat again! Alexa and I are flying to Cedar Rapids to stay with Pat for a little over a month and I am so glad! I have been so stressed out lately with everything that has been going on with the potential move, and not having a husband to help with Alexa, who is a Handful these days!! and on top of that not having any body to hang out with...my highlight of the week is going to church so I can talk to people and be sort of social, sad I know :o( Well off to packing....

Houston

Soon after Alexa and I got back from Colorado for Christmas, we turned right around and went to Houston, Texas where my parents recently moved. It was great! The weather was amazing (neither Alexa nor I had to wear a jacket even once!) and it was also very relaxing to sleep in and having grandparents who were so very enthralled with their grandbaby, Alexa. I helped my mom organize and unpack while she played with Lexa, which gave me a nice break and helped her not be so stressed about moving into their new house. We also went to this nature preserve where there were crocodiles, turtles, and beautiful lake at the end of the walk. Alexa seemed to have a good time as well as the rest of us. We ended the day with a gourmet dinner at Chipotle!! On the Friday before Lexa and I left Houston, we went to my brother Marcus' high school musical called, How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying...it was hilarious! By far my favorite musical I've seen!! I also found out that one of my old roommates family lives only a couple miles from my parents house. However, Amanda my old roommate is on a mission in Washington state so I couldnt talk to her but at least I know that her family lives close to my family so when we come visit next I can see her.

Life Changes

Starting in January, Pat began his internship for Infinite Computing Systems in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As for me and Alexa, we have been traveling here and there visiting family and friends to past the time while Pat is away. Apparently, Pat has been doing such a good job, Infinite has offered him a full-time position, which would mean we would have to relocate to Iowa, 1,300 miles away. We are still trying to figure out all the details of this move but will keep everyone posted on the latest news.
