-I celebrated my 26th birthday on December 7th by going to Mechie's Frozen Yogurt with my family and some friends from church (way fun! :o)
-I also had a little family birthday party and my mom made some delicious, from scratch, vanilla/chocolate swirl cake, with homemade frosting (yum!!)
-Alexa had a preschool Christmas party that Pat and I were both able to attend. She had been looking forward to this party for a long time and was so excited the day it came!
-We had a ward Christmas party on Dec. 15th and the theme was "The Polar Express" -(very cute!) We wore our pajamas, the kids got their "train tickets" and someone read "The Polar Express" book in Santa's big chair.
-Santa came to the ward Christmas party and Preston didn't freak out when I sat him on his lap! (he did look at him funny though!) Alexa LOVED it! Alexa asked Santa for a Cinderella dress-up dress and Cinderella the movie.
-We spent the night at my parents house on Christmas Eve so we could do Christmas together in the morning.
-Alexa wanted to make sure Santa knew where we were so he could still leave the presents in the right place so she wrote him a note and a map to where her "Nana's house" is.
-New Year's Eve we had a party with some friends from church. We played games, ate a whole bunch of junk food and watched the ball drop on TV. Alexa wanted to stay up until midnight, and was so excited to do so, but totally crashed about 11pm. I woke her up just in time to see the ball drop and it officially change to 2013, but she was so tired!! (Preston was running around like a wild child until we finally put him in his bed about 11:30pm!)
